These screws are #2 x 3/8" Round Head Screws
IMPORTANT: For new installations, an adequate pilot hole is required.
The recommendation of virtually all screw suppliers is that for a #2 wood screw, a 1/16" diameter pilot hole is REQUIRED. Drilling too small or not deep enough of a pilot hole WILL result in either the screw heads stripping out on soft screws, or breakage at or below the surface for hardened screws (these screws are hardened to prevent the heads from stripping).
