Legendary Vintage Wah Upgrade Caps

Caution:
Tropical fish capacitors are notorious for the leads breaking off if ANY sideways pressure is applied to the cap body / lead junction, especially if being heated. This is a big part of why they were discontinued 30+ years ago when automated insertion machines came into use.
To adjust the lead spacing for any holes that aren't exactly the same as the cap, you need to hold the lead with needle nose pliers close to the cap body and bend the leads with your fingers to the width you want, and never put pressure on the cap body to lead junction, especially while it is being heated. You will find that if you don't do this, they WILL crack and the leads will split off.
This goes for any tropical fish cap you will find anywhere.

Affordable and effective substitute for .22uf Vintage Wah Upgrade caps

Use careful supported bending, and they will drop right in.
