These caps bear the famous Sprague "2 within a circle", which was (and still is) the manufacturer ID marker for Sprague.

This mark was used until recently (when SBE was sold to CDE) on Sprague Orange Drops manufactured by Vishay-Sprague and SBE (Sprague-Barre Electronics)
